Regional softball tourney location changed
MCC will take on Mohawk Valley for a trip to nationals.
ITHACA, NY - The 2013 Region III, Division III championship tournament, featuring Monroe Community College, has changed locations.
In anticipation of poor weather for the next few days, the games have been moved to Niemand*Robison Softball Field at Cornell University in Ithaca.
MCC will take on Mohawk Valley CC at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday in the best-of-three series for the Region III-B title. If the teams split, they will play Saturday at a time to be determined. The winner advances to the NJCAA Division III softball tournament, May 16-18, in Rochester, Minn.
