ROCHESTER, NY - The Monroe Community College women's lacrosse team knocked off the defending national champion Harford Community College 19-15 on Sunday afternoon. SKy Gaudio led the offensive attack for the Trib finishing with a game-high seven goals while collecting five ground balls and finishing with three caused turnovers. Riley Bready earned the win in goal finishing with six saves.
Kate Oxley and Michaela Neelin each added four goals a piece, while Angelina Soeffiing added two goals and four assists. Maddi Hoffman chipped in with a goal while assisting four others. Molly Curley rounded out the scoring with one goal for Monroe.
Monroe returns to action on Tuesday when they welcome Region III foe Genesee Community College for a 4pm game.
