ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Tribunes women's lacrosse team started their season with a win over the #3 nationally ranked Harford Community College Fighting Owls, 17-7. The Tribunes improved to 1-0 on the season with the win, while the Owls dropped to 0-1 following the loss.
For the Tribunes, Skye Gaudio scored four goals, had one assist, six ground balls, and six draw controls. Angelina Soeffing scored four goals, had one assist, and seven draw controls. Lena LaShomb had four goals and one assist. Kate Oxley scored two goals, had one assist, six ground balls, and two draw controls.
Kalani Thomas scored one goal and had two assists. Jillian Kordas scored one goal and had one assist. Katie Bootes scored one goal. Ashleigh Augustine had three ground balls. Goalie Mya Rogers registered 16 saves on 23 shots faced.
