Rochester, NY.- Friday evening the Monroe Community College men's soccer team hosted the No.3 Monroe College Mustangs. Tied at the half, Federico Bushi secured a header goal with a pass from Sean Dickie to give the Tribunes a 2-1 lead. With four minutes left in the match, the Mustangs were able to come back and score leaving the game tied 2-2 and headed to overtime. Though both teams had their chances in two extra 10-minute periods, neither one was able to break through and score the winning goal, resulting in a 2-2 draw. With the tie, the Tribunes move to 7-1-1 on the season.
Game Highlights:
The first goal for Monroe was scored by Brandon Johnson with an assist from Federico Bushi.
David Indra had seven saves in goal.
The men will travel to Genesee Community College Tuesday, October 11th for a 6 pm matchup.
