UTICA, NY - The MCC ice hockey team earned another resounding regional victory, defeating host Mohawk Valley CC 18-1 Wednesday evening.
The Tribunes moved to 9-1 overall and 6-0 in Region III. Monroe has outscored Mohawk 39-1 in two games this season.
Seth Hamilton, Cameron Randles, and Martin Matejcek all had two goals and two assists to pace the Tribunes. Pavel Kuzmin and John Papas chipped in with two goals and one assist apiece, and Matt Corey also had a pair of goals.
Dalton Kay allowed just one goal and stopped seven shots for MCC.
Dominik Gabaj and Daniel Martensson each registered a goal and two assists, and Brian Wade, Lakoda Coleman, and Rob Marlinski all had one goal and one helper.
Nick Papas dished out three assists and Reilly Moore had two.
