TROY, NY - Sophomore forward Cameron Randles registered a hat trick to help leat the MCC ice hockey team to an 8-2 victory over regional opponent Hudson Valley CC Saturday.
The victory improved Monroe's record to 3-0 in Region III play and 4-0 overall. The Tribunes take on HVCC again on Sunday.
Randles opened the scoring in the third minute and scored again late in the first to give MCC a 3-1 lead. He then finished off the hat trick midway through the second period.
Andrew Sanders chipped in with a goal and an assist, and Martin Matejcek, John Papas, Zach Coughlin, and Psvel Kuzmin also found the back of the net.
Tom Hanna and Kevin Cortivo added two assists apiece and Jon Brown stopped 12 shots in goal.
