Rochester, NY - The Monroe Community College women's soccer team won the NJCAA Region III championship on Saturday afternoon scoring 10 first half goals en route to a 17-0 victory. With the victory the Tribunes improve to 11-4-2 on the season and advance to the Great Lakes District tournament to take on the NJCAA Region IV champion on November 8.
Katrina Yencer led all scorers with four goals and two assists and was named the tournaments MVP.
