ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The number two-ranked MCC Tribunes faced off against the number one-ranked OCC Lazers on a cloudy Thursday afternoon. The Tribs fell 24-9.
MCC was unable to keep up with OCC's speed in this contest. Skye Gaudio scored 2 goals on 2 shots for the Tribs. Kalani Thomas had 1 goal and 1 assist. Lena LaShomb had one goal and 1 assist as well. Angelina Soeffing scored 4 goals for the Tribunes.
OCC started off with a few quick goals. Alecsis Buda had 10 assists in this one for the Lazers and she was a big reason why OCC scored so many goals. Gianna Zerrillo had a 13-point game where she scored 6 goals and had 7 assists. Olivia Lockwood had 9 goals in this one.
The Tribunes were unsuccessful in this game but they have a chance to bounce back against the GCC Cougars.
