ROCHESTER, NY - The Monroe Community College women's lacrosse team scored nine goals in the first period en route to a 20-3 thumping of Genesee Community College on Tuesday evening at John L. Dimarco Field. Maddie Hoffman finished with four gaols and five assists to pace the attack for the Tribunes. Indya Ford added three goals to lead Genesee. With the victory, the Tribunes improve to 2-1 on the season and head to Maryland next to take on Harford Community College on Thursday afternoon. The nations leading scorer Skye Gaudio kept up her pace finishing with five goals for Monroe.
Michaela Neelin and Angelina Soeffing each added three goals and two assists, Luciana Dodge scored two goals, and Kate Oxley, Molly Curley, and Janelle Hunzek each added a goal for the Tribunes.
