Sanborn, NY.- On the road for their last weekend tournament before the holiday's, MCC women's basketball program took part in Niagara County Community College's T-Wolves Holiday Classic this past weekend. On Saturday, they faced the Lakeland CC Lakers (65-59 Loss) and Sunday, the WVU Potomac State Catamounts (80-77 Win). Monroe moves to 6-6 on the season.
Game Highlights:
12/10/22 vs Lakeland CC
Khamera Muhammad led the Tribunes scoring 19 points, finishing with 15 rebounds, and went 9 for 9 in free throws.
Apollonia Desuze ended the day with 15 rebounds, eight points, and four assists.
12/11/22 vs WVU Potomac State
Muhammad was the lead scorer for Monroe with 22 points. Kennedy Young was behind her with 18 points.
Shanique Simms finished the day with 16 points, five assists and six steals.
The Tribunes will head to Jamestown CC this Wednesday, the 14th to face the Jayhawks at 5:30 pm.
