Tribunes Steal Home Opener from FLCC

Rochester, NY.- After many home opener cancelations due to weather and field conditions, the MCC softball team was finally able to play on their home field this past Saturday vs the Finger Lakes Lakers. The Tribunes stole both games 8-0 and 13-2. Win the wins, MCC advances to 5-7 on the season.
Game 1
Jennifer Maysuch allowed no runs and only four hits with six strikeouts and a walk.
Emily Wagner went 2-3 with a double, homerun and finished with four RBI.
Game 2
Maysuch went 3-4 at the plate with a double, triple and earned three RBI.
Kailee DiGiacco went 2-4 with three RBI and homered.
Amber Gerringer had five strikeouts, two walks and allowed only three hits.
Monroe is on the road this Thursday when they travel to Broome Community College with a 2 pm game start.
