Conshohocken, PA – The Monroe Community College Men's Soccer Team finishes out their season undefeated with a record of 11-0-2 after a trip to the Bears home feild.
Harley Jackson opened up the score in the early minutes of the first half of regulation with a strike coming from inside the box with the help of Hyeonjin Yang with a perfect pass to set up an amazing scoring opportunity.
The Tribunes continued to hold themselves as a strong defense as the first half sizzled out giving them the perfect momentum to continue into the second half.
The second half proved to be an equal game between the two teams with equal effort and determination from the Tribunes.
Late into the second half Simon La Fonta broke the tie with a free kick from outside the box that slotted nicely into the top of the net over the keeper's head.
The Tribunes kept their lead for the rest of the game proving to have a competitive edge, finishing out the game 2-1. Making the Tribunes undefeated in the regular season.
The Tribunes recieved an automatic bye and advance to Districts and will host the winner of Monroe V. Harcum at home. The date has yet to be announced but will come out in the days to come.
