Laframboise Nets Six Goals, Bunes Fall at Mohawk Valley

UTICA N.Y. - Mohawk Valley Community College defeated Monroe Community College 11-9 in a lacrosse match. Monroe Community College started strong in the first quarter, taking a 2-1 lead. However, Mohawk Valley Community College fought back and tied the game in the second quarter. The third quarter saw Mohawk Valley take the lead with a score of 8-5, thanks to some key goals from Max Hunt and Dominick Gratch.In the fourth quarter, Monroe Community College made a comeback attempt, scoring four goals. However, it was not enough to overcome Mohawk Valley's lead. Dominick Gratch, Max Hunt, and Derek Ferrone were standout players for Mohawk Valley, contributing to their team's victory.For Monroe Steven Laframboise scroed a season-high six goals for the Tribunes, While Cole beardsley contributed two goals, and Jake Hamilton added a goal of his own. Defensivley, Chandler Redwood made his season debut in goal and recorded six saves on 17 shot attempts. Manny Anderson also led all Defenders recording ten Ground Balls.
