Men’s Basketball Ranked #14 Following Weekend Sweep, Marks First Ranking Since 2017-18 Season

ROCHESTER N.Y. - The Monroe Community College Men's Basketball team found themselves ranked #14 on the Week One NJCAA DII Men's Basketball Rankings. This coming just days after the Tribunes completed a weekend sweep of their annual Murph Shapiro Classic Tournament. This marked the first time since the 2017-18 season that the team has been ranked 

In Game One the Tribunes defeated Cecil College 69-56 behind a stellar performance from Sophomore guard Treymaire Dodd. In the previous week's poll Cecil College was not ranked, however they had been receiving votes 

The Tribunes made a statement in their second game of the weekend, defeating the #7 ranked Sullivan Generals 84-71. Sophomore guard Terrell Williams dominated offensively scoring 28 points and propelling the Tribunes to a 52 Point Team total in the 2nd half.
