Batavia, NY.- The Monroe Community College men's basketball team brought home an 84-73 win lastnight over the Genesee Cougars. Leading at the 43-32, the Tribunes were able to maintain the lead until the final buzzer. With the victory, Monroe moves to 3-8 on the season.
Game Highlights:
Andre Hairston was the lead scorer and rebounder with 24 points and ten rebounds.
Ishmael Smith had five assists on the night, Mahamadou Nimaga had four.
The men are headed to Cecil College tonight to take part in their Holiday Tournament on Friday the 17th when they go head-to-head against the Seahawks at 5:00 pm.
