Rochester, NY.- The MCC's men's basketball team welcomed the Monroe Mustangs last night in a nail biter game gone into overtime. The Tribunes led by 17 points at the half and kept a steady lead throughout the second. In the final seconds of the game the Mustangs made a 3-pt. shot tying it at 82-82 which led to overtime. Mustangs took an early lead with Monroe trailing right behind. Time ran out and the Tribunes fell by a short two points, 91-89. With the loss, Monroe moves to 1-5 on the season, while the Mustangs advance to 7-3.
Game Highlights:
Adam Williams was the lead scorer for the Tribunes with 18 points. Izaiah Williams was right behind him with 17.
Dyree Rogers finished with nine rebounds.
The men are back to play today at 4:00 pm at Jamestown Community College when they face off against WVU Potomac State.
