Loch Sheldrake, NY.- MCC men's basketball team traveled to SUNY Sullivan CC this past weekend to compete in their annual Tip-Off Classic. The men faced Raritan Valley CC on Saturday and lost 68-93. Game two was played on Sunday when they faced Montgomery College and dropped another game 72-82. With the two losses, the Tribunes move to 1-2 on the season.
Game Highlights:
Ishmael Smith (Lanham, MD) had the most points on Saturday, making 14 and earning three assists. Mahamadou Nimaga (Bronx, NY) finished with eight rebounds.
On Sunday, Dyree Rogers (New City, NY) stood out with 24 points for Monroe, followed by 12 rebounds.
The men are back on the road this Friday the 12th when they head to Onondaga CC for a 5:00 pm matchup.
