Rochester, NY - After nearly a year-long absence, MCC baseball returned to play on Thursday with a vengeance, sweeping Genesee Community College in two straight games, 13-12 and 10-6, to earn their first two victories of the year.
The Tribunes won in thrilling fashion in game-one. Sophomore Evan Magill knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the 7th to earn the victory. The Tribunes jumped out to an early 9-2 lead in game two, holding on to win 10-6 to wrap-up the season-opening sweep.
MCC will return to action on Sunday, March 14 at 12pm against Adirondack Community College. Although spectators are not currently permitted at any SUNY institutions, you can still catch the live stream of many of our home games (m/w soccer, baseball, softball) at mcctribunes.com.
