JACKSON, MI - The Monroe Community College women's soccer team fell 8-1 to Iowa Western CC on Saturday afternoon in Jackson, MI. With the loss the Tribunes fall to 2-2-1 on the season while the Reivers improve to 3-3.
The Reivers scored four goals in each half enroute to the victory. Lina Jaime and Paola Ochoa paced the attack for Iowa Western with two goals apiece. Gaia Iacuzzi (Torreano, Italy) scored the lone goal for the Tribunes while Mia Turcotte (Rochester, NY/Greece Arcadia) finished with five saves in goal.
The Tribunes return to action tomorrow against Jackson College at 1pm EST in Jackson, MI.
