GARDEN CITY, NY - Keirsten MacLellan scored seven goals as the MCC women's lacrosse team defeated Nassau Community College 22-3 Saturday afternoon.
MacLellan's goal total ties for the second-most in a single game in program history.
Courtney Reuter chipped in with three goals and two assists for Monroe (2-0). Elizabeth Lacomb added two goals and two assists, and Hannah Barnett had two goals.
Caitlin Cavallaro made six saves in goal.
Melanie Murphy finished with a goal and three assists and Molly Gray had a goal and two assists. Ashley Brandt-Hunter and Gina Akel tallied one goal and one assist apiece.
Alyssa Kennedy, Dana Fichera, Tori Williamson, and Brianna Everson had one goal each.
