Dale returns for his sixth season with the Tribunes as the Associate Head Coach for the Men’s and Women’s teams. He helped Head Coach Daniel Dubois lead the men and women to non-scholarship team titles four of the past five seasons.  Pearce was instrumental in assisting Tamara Miler win six individual national titles during his tenure.  In 2015, he was part of the staff that earned the NJCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Coaching Staff of the Year.

Pearce joined the Tribune staff after two successful years as the Aquatics Manager/Assistant Coach at Buffalo State College. During his tenure, over 40 school records were broken.

Pearce earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Brockport in 2009. During his swimming career at Brockport, Pearce set two school records and was an All-SUNYAC Swimmer. He started his college swimming career at Genesee Community College, where he was a 14-time CSCAA All-American, Region III record holder and five-time Northeast District meet champion. He was inducted into the Genesee Community College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015, the highest accomplishment an athlete could earn at the college. 

Pearce currently works full time for Monroe Community College as a Program Coordinator at the Applied Technologies Center and works directly with apprenticeship programs in skilled trades. He helps the Heating Ventilation Air-Conditioning department by teaching courses in Solar Thermal Technologies. He earned his master's degree in Career & Technical Education from Buffalo State in 2012 and completed a second M.S. in Athletic Administration last fall. He has a strong background in Aquatics with 8 years’ experience as an aquatic technician/trainer for Darien Lake Theme Park and Resort.

He is an instructor for the National Swimming Pool Foundation® and holds certification in pool operator, pool inspector, CPR, Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instructor.  In his free time, he competes in various triathlons in the region and builds muscle cars. Dale and his wife Meghan are enjoying time with their newborn son Nolan and reside in Brockport.
