Galvano earns NSCAA coaching honor
The fifth-year coach led MCC to the national tournament.
ROCHESTER - MCC women's soccer coach Sal Galvano was named the 2012 North Region Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Galvano guided the Lady Tribunes to an 18-2 record and a trip to the NJCAA Division I national tournament. He was also named the NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year after MCC won its 14th consecutive regional title.
Galvano has an overall record of 80-22-4 in five years at Monroe.
