Tribunes defeat host Jackson
MCC starts off weekend road trip with rout.
JACKSON, Michigan – Natalie Rogers (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) had two goals and one assist to lead the MCC women's soccer team to their 12th straight win, a 6-0 victory over Jackson CC Saturday.
Monroe's roadtrip concludes Sunday with a match against Schoolcraft College.
Rogers scored the only goal of the first half - and the eventual game-winner - in the 27th minute off an assist from Jessica DiCesare (Chili, NY/Aquinas).
MCC (12-1) then put it away with five goals in the second half. Ally Sharpe (Brockport, NY/Brockport) had a goal and an assist, and Kaylen O'Brien (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport), Caity Hamilton (Cicero, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) and Taylor Wingerden (Macedon, NY/Palmyra-Macedon) also scored.
Chloe Crook (London, England/Holy Family) finished with four saves for the shutout.
