Ronnie Davis enters his second year at the helm of the MCC women's lacrosse team.
Davis took over the head coaching duties prior to the 2018 season. He guided the Tribunes to a 12-0 record, the Region III championship and the program's sixth consecutive NJCAA national title in May. Davis was named Coach of the Tournament at nationals.
Davis, who was an assistant coach with Monroe for four years before taking on the head role, brings a wealth of lacrosse knowledge to the program. He was a four-year member of the Nazareth College men's lacrosse team, where he was a key contributor for the Golden Flyers' first national title in 1992. He earned first team All-American honors and was the championship game MVP that same year.
Ranking among Nazareth's all-time career scoring leaders, he was a 2008 inductee into the Golden Flyer Hall of Fame.
Davis is deeply involved with youth lacrosse as well. He is the Chief Lacrosse Officer for Monster Elite Lacrosse and has also been involved with Pittsford Community Lacrosse.
