Entering his 22nd year as head coach of the MCC women’s basketball team, Parrinello has amassed an incredible record of 580-83 with the Lady Tribunes. That mark includes three NJCAA Division II national championships (2001, 2004, and 2005), one NJCAA Division I title (2006), and numerous coaching awards and honors.

In 2017, the Lady Tribunes went 29-4, won the Region III, Division II title, and placed third at the NJCAA national tournament in Harrison, Ark.

In 2016, Parrinello guided MCC to a 31-2 record and the Region III, Division II championship. The Tribunes were unbeaten during the regular season and earned the top seed at the NJCAA Division II national tournament, where they finished in fourth place for the second straight year.

In Parrinello's 21 years, MCC has become one of the most successful junior college programs in the nation.  During that span, more than 75 players have transferred to NCAA Division I colleges and universities, including Syracuse University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Miami (Fla.), and Temple University.  Many of his former players are playing or have played professionally overseas.

Parrinello is a 1991 graduate of the University of Rochester, where he played football and earned a bachelor's degree in history.  He later served as an assistant coach for the UR football team.  

Parrinello has five children: Maddy, 21, Jonathan, 17, Keenan, 16, Avery, 7, and Everly, 3. He and his wife, Sheri, reside in Penfield.
