Tribs hold off Louisburg
MCC evens its record at 4-4 with the win.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The MCC women's basketball team held off a tough Louisburg College squad, winning 63-62 at the Mustangs Winter Tip-Off Saturday night.
The Lady Tribunes moved to 4-4 with the win over the third-ranked team in NJCAA Division II.
Dionne Coe (Brooklyn, NY/Murry Bergtraum) and Alexis Johnson (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton) scored 15 points apiece to pace MCC.
The Tribunes wrap up the tournament with a 12 p.m. matinee on Sunday against Harcum College.
