Entering his 17th year, Robb DiGiacomo has been one of the most successful junior college softball coaches in the nation during his time at Monroe Community College. He has guided the MCC softball team to three National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national championships and has been named National Coach of the Year three times.

DiGiacomo led the Tribunes to another solid season in 2015. The team finished 23-21, enjoyed a 16-game winning streak, and reached the finals of the Region III, Division III tournament. DiGiacomo also picked up a coaching milestone as he won his 500th game.  He has compiled an overall record of 509-201 record in 16 years as MCC head coach.

The 2007 season will go down as one of the best in NJCAA history. The Tribunes finished with a 52-2 record, led the nation with a .454 team batting average, and ended the season on a 35-game winning streak. DiGiacomo, along with assistants Chuck Sciortino and Paul Ruggeri, were named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Coaching Staff of the Year.

Coach DiGiacomo conducts numerous camps and clinics with local softball players and is also involved with officiating. He has been a basketball official for more than 25 years, including 15 at the NCAA Division I level. He has also spent over 20 years officiating soccer and softball.
