In 42 opportunities the MCC men's and women's teams have captured 39 regional team championships. In that same time MCC has had 34 Top-4 team finishes in NJCAA national competition, including a second-place finish for the women's team in 2001, 2007, 2008, 2015. Dubois was chosen NJCAA Women's Coach of the Year in 2000, 2003, 2007, and 2015 and the NJCAA Men’s Coach of the Year in 2010. Dubois also gives back to the sport of NJCAA swimming and diving by serving as the Region III Swimming & Diving Coaches Association President and the NJCAA Swimming & Diving Coaches Association President.

Dubois oversees the physical training of all student-athletes but relies on the expertise of his assistant coaches in the design and implementation of daily and yearly plans. Dubois primarily focuses on sprint and distance training, TEAM building, strength development, academics, and recruiting. Framing the program around the Student-Athlete Success program, Dubois works daily to inspire his TEAMmates to be better tomorrow then they were today, in all facets of their life, in and out of the pool.

Dubois is an MCC alumnus and graduated from the University of South Florida in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in physical education. He received his master's degree in adult education from Buffalo State College in 2002. Over 30 years, Dubois has coached NAG-16 age group swimmers, sectional, senior, US Open, and Olympic Trial national qualifiers. Dubois is the father of four beautiful daughters, ranging in age from 11 to 33 and a proud grandpa of two grandchildren.  Dubois is married to Christina and resides on the west side of Rochester.
