Monroe men place fourth at NCI

POTSDAM, New York - Led by three runner-up finishes from Gabriel Knaut, the MCC men's swimming and diving team placed fourth at the North Country Invitational hosted by SUNY Potsdam this weekend.

Knaut finished second in the 50 free (21.56), the 100 free (47.36), and the 200 free (1:50.18) for the Tribunes, who totaled 331 points on the weekend. Clarkson was first at 500, followed by Saint Michael's College (391) and Potsdam (356).

Greg Sanders was runner-up in the 200 breast (2:19.24), third in the 200 IM (2:07.04), and fourth in the 100 breast (1:03.90) for MCC. Noah Burr was third in the 200 back (2:10.78), and fourth in the 400 IM (4:45.65) and the 100 back (59.53).

Patrick Marsh took fifth in both the 1650 free (18:57.44) and 200 fly (2:13.85) and was sixth in the 500 free (5:22.63). Loren Searle was fifth in both the 1-meter (161.00) and 3-meter (148.10) diving, and Cameron Wagner took eighth in the 100 fly (58.53).
