Monroe shuts out No. 15 Owens
MCC continues its season-long unbeaten streak.
ROCHESTER – The MCC men's soccer picked up another victory, shutting out No. 15 Owens CC 4-0 on DiMarco Field Saturday afternoon.
The third-ranked Tribunes moved to 13-0 with the win. Monroe wraps up the regular season next Saturday at home against Cuyahoga CC.
Travis DeLyser (Marion, NY/Marion) scored twice to lead Monroe. Ngwese Ebangwese (Rochester, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) added three assists.
Micah Manetta (Greece, NY/Greece Arcadia) and Mohamed Wally (Jersey City, NJ/Ferris) also scored.
The win was the 298th in the career of head coach Nelson Cupello.
