Two earn All-Region selections

ROCHESTER - A pair of MCC men's basketball members were honored with All-Region III selections for this season. Sophomore forward Malik Colvin-Seldon was named to the All-Region first team, the team's only first team selection. Sophomore guard Devonte Dixon was selected to the All-Region second team.

Colvin-Seldon was a force for the Tribune offense this year. He averaged 15.4 points per game and shot an outstanding 59.9% from the field. Colvin-Seldon could also get it done on the glass as he brought in 7.9 rebounds per game. The sophomore forward proved to be one of the best players for the Tribunes this season.

Dixon also played a huge role for the team this year. Dixon was tops on the team in points per game with 15.9 and averaged three 3-pointers made this season. He was a factor on the defensive side of the ball as well as he averaged 1.4 steals per game. 

The Tribune season ended with an 81-75 loss to Jamestown Community College in the quarterfinals of the Region III, Division II men's basketball tournament. MCC finished the year with a record of 16-11.
