Swimmers finish fourth, capture non-scholarship titles
Hamilton, Burns earn Swimmer of the Meet honors.
BUFFALO - The Monroe Community College men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up another successful season Saturday, as each team finished fourth at the 2013 NJCAA championship meet.
Each team won their respective non-scholarship division titles, with the men capturing the Al Zamsky award and the women the Spyke Johnson award. The men finished with 592 points and the women had 675. Indian River won both team titles once again.
In addition, MCC's Katie Hamilton (Rochester, NY/Eastridge) and Kevin Burns (Ravena, NY/RCS) were named non-scholarship Swimmers of the Meet.
